Skansie Brothers Park & Netshed
Waterfront park in the heart of downtown Gig Harbor with a historic netshed and concert lawn.
Donated to the city by four Croatian fishing brothers, Skansie Brothers Park is the cultural heart of downtown Gig Harbor. The 4-acre waterfront green space hosts the Maritime Gig Festival, an annual summer concert series, holiday tree lighting, and weekly farmers markets. The original Skansie Netshed — built in 1910 — has been restored and now serves as a small maritime exhibit. Best at sunset when the Olympic Mountains light up across Puget Sound.
